A district-scale gold project, focused on Massala.
Ten exploration permits covering 800 km² in the Birimian Greenstone Belt of southern Mali — where nine years of disciplined exploration have converged on the Massala Small Mine Project and a pathway toward production.
A district-scale opportunity.
Compass Gold's Sikasso Property is a district-scale gold exploration and development project located in southern Mali, one of Africa's premier gold-producing jurisdictions. Following years of systematic exploration across an extensive land package, the Company identified the Tarabala-Moribala trends as the most prospective area for both near-term development and long-term exploration success.
Today, Compass's primary focus is on advancing the Massala Small Mine Project while continuing to evaluate the significant exploration potential that remains across the broader property portfolio.
The Sikasso Property consists of ten exploration permits covering 800 square kilometres. The permits are held by four Malian subsidiaries that are 100% owned by Compass Gold Corporation. The property is underlain by Birimian greenstone belt rocks, one of the world's most productive gold-bearing geological provinces, and is strategically located within an established mining district that hosts several world-class gold mines, reflecting the exceptional geological prospectivity of the region.
Over the past nine years, Compass has systematically refined its exploration portfolio and focused its technical work on those areas demonstrating the greatest potential to create shareholder value. This disciplined approach ultimately led to the identification of Massala as the Company's highest-priority development opportunity.
The first phase, engineered to produce.

Massala represents the first phase of Compass's long-term development strategy. Located along the approximately 15-kilometre Tarabala mineralized trend, the project is designed to transition Compass from exploration toward potential gold production under Mali's 2023 Small Mine Permit framework. The Company has received its Environmental Permit and has applied for a Small Mine Permit that provides a regulatory pathway for appropriately scaled commercial mining operations. Extensive drilling, trenching, bulk sampling, metallurgical testing, environmental studies, mine planning, and engineering work have positioned Massala as the Company's most advanced development opportunity.

A disciplined development strategy.
Rather than pursuing a large, capital-intensive mine development approach, Compass has adopted a disciplined strategy focused on near-surface oxide mineralization using a simple gravity recovery process. Management believes this approach offers the potential for lower initial capital requirements, reduced technical complexity and a practical pathway toward commercial production while preserving the broader exploration potential of the district.
Beyond Massala.
Although Massala is the Company's immediate priority, it represents only one component of the broader Sikasso Property. Compass continues to evaluate additional targets throughout the Tarabala-Moribala corridor and its wider exploration portfolio, providing significant long-term exploration and development potential beyond the initial Small Mine Project.
The geological opportunity.

Compass Gold's Sikasso Property is underlain by Paleoproterozoic Birimian greenstone belt rocks of the West African Craton—one of the world's most prolific gold-producing geological provinces. This geological setting hosts numerous world-class gold deposits, including Morila, Syama, Loulo-Gounkoto, Sadiola and Obuasi. The Company's exploration strategy has focused on understanding the structural controls that concentrate gold mineralization within this highly prospective terrain.

Nine Years of Systematic Exploration
Massala was not an accidental discovery—it was the result of nine years of disciplined geological work. Since acquiring the Sikasso Property in 2017, Compass has followed a systematic, data-driven exploration strategy designed to identify the areas with the greatest potential to create long-term shareholder value. Rather than focusing on a single prospect, the Company progressively evaluated its district-scale land package through regional geochemistry, geophysics, trenching and multiple phases of drilling. Each successive program refined the geological model and narrowed the Company's focus toward the Tarabala–Moribala corridor, ultimately identifying Massala as the Company's highest-priority, near-term development opportunity.
Nine years, documented.
Since 2017, Compass has completed a sustained, systematic exploration program across the Sikasso Property.
- Extensive trenching, soil geochemistry and ground geophysics
- Bulk sampling and metallurgical testing
- Environmental studies, engineering and mine planning

Confirming continuity at Massala.
Recent drilling at Massala continues to confirm the continuity of near-surface gold mineralization and further strengthens the Company's geological model. Results from the Phase 1 diamond drilling program reinforced previous drilling and trenching programs, demonstrating the continuity of higher-grade mineralization within the Massala prospect and supporting the Company's ongoing transition from exploration toward potential gold production.
The Sikasso Property benefits from more than sixty years of historical geological work completed by government agencies, international organizations and previous operators. Compass has incorporated this historical information into its modern exploration programs while generating an extensive proprietary geological database since 2017. This combination of historical knowledge and contemporary exploration has provided the technical foundation for the Company's disciplined development strategy.
Transparent, rigorous disclosure.
Compass Gold is committed to providing investors with transparent, technically rigorous disclosure in accordance with applicable Canadian securities regulations.
The Company's technical disclosure is supported by an independent National Instrument 43-101 Technical Report on the Sikasso Property prepared by Dr. Sandy M. Archibald, P.Geo. The report describes the property's geology, exploration history, exploration methodology, sampling protocols and quality assurance procedures. Consistent with the Company's current stage of development, the report does not contain a mineral resource estimate.
The economic projections released for the Massala Small Mine Project are based on the Company's January 2026 project evaluation and are supported by actual exploration and technical data. These projections are consistent with the form of feasibility study required under the Malian Mining Code; however, they do not constitute a feasibility study as defined under Canadian National Instrument 43-101. Investors should carefully review the Company's public disclosure and the applicable cautionary statements regarding forward-looking information.
All scientific and technical information disclosed by Compass Gold is reviewed by the Company's Qualified Person in accordance with National Instrument 43-101.
Building the foundation for development.
Compass's progress at Massala is the result of years of disciplined fieldwork carried out by an experienced in-country technical team. Since 2017, the Company has completed successive exploration and development programs across the Sikasso Property, including regional geochemistry, geophysics, drilling, trenching, metallurgical testing, bulk sampling and environmental studies.
Working alongside locally employed field crews and contractors, Compass's Malian geological team has systematically advanced the Company's understanding of the Tarabala–Moribala corridor while laying the technical foundation for the Massala Small Mine Project. This sustained presence in Mali, supported by its internationally experienced technical leadership, reflects Compass's long-term commitment to responsible exploration and disciplined project development.
